Project Description:

The Division 13 Bus Maintenance and Operations facility is constructed of one-existing LACMTA property in downtown Los Angeles. The Design-Bid-Build project serves to accommodate 200 Compressed Natural Gas (CNG) buses. The facility consists of a multi-level parking structure and garage (397 parking spaces), bus and non-revenue vehicle fueling stations, bus and vehicle washing stations; maintenance and transportation offices and support areas.

Morgner provided CM Support services to the Project Management (PM) Team. We assisted the PM’s Resident Engineer with day-to-day construction, prepared monthly and quarterly project reports and maintained CO, RFI and E&O logs; developed and prepared scope of change order work; Prepared cost estimates, recommended and negotiated final price of change work orders; Performed monthly and quarterly construction progress project reports, and processed payment requests.
