|
| County of Los Angeles Sanitation Department |
MORGNER was contracted by the County Sanitation Districts of Los Angeles County to perform field
verifications of parcel improvements on approximately 8,000 parcels within Los Angeles County and to provide
reports on the findings to aid them in their Financial Planning & Management. The challenge of this project
was the volume of data to be collected, reviewed and submitted. Along with the document control issues and
management of so many inspectors, the 4-month time frame in which to finish the verifications of the 8,000
parcels spread throughout all of Los Angeles County and many unincorporated cities made it a project in need
of maximum efficiency. |

 |
| City of Los Angeles, Department of Public Works |
MORGNER was retained by Parsons Brinckerhoff Quade & Douglas, Inc. (PB) and Jacobs
& Associates to conduct pre-construction surveys for the East Central Interceptor Sewer

to develop a Risk Management Information System (RMIS 100) that was used to access
and document existing defects to buildings and other structures along the Metro
system's right-of-way. The purpose of the surveys and documentation was to ascertain
the pre-construction condition of the various properties in order to defend the MTA
against property owner claims that might arise as a result of construction or the operation of the rail system. |
