CALIFORNIA BUSINESS INCENTIVES.

• Expected Performance Based Buydown (EPBB): The rebate payment is as much as $2.50 per watt installed. This rebate is available to any installation under
  100 kilowatt (kw). This is a one-time rebate paid out by the State after the system is installed.
• Performance Based Incentive (PBI): Rebate payments are as much as $.39 per kilowatt hour (kwh). Every system over 100 kw in size will automatically default to this incentive, but smaller systems can also opt-in if they determine it a better benefit. The PBI is a monthly rebate payment over a five year span, which is determined by the actual energy produced. The payment that you qualify for remains the same for the life of the rebate.
• Federal Tax Credit: The Federal government offers a 30% of the net system cost of solar power systems.
• Modified Accelerated Cost-Recovery System (MACRS): An additional tax credit advantage of an accelerated 5-year depreciation of your net solar system investment. These provisions are found in IRC section 179. This applies if the Solar System is installed in business related property.
